K1 Speed in Hilliard is a two-story indoor electric go-kart track and arcade, converted from an existing office warehouse. Our team installed all power, lighting, and fire alarm work for the renovation, along with low-voltage rough-ins and a new secondary transformer.

The heart of the project was the power infrastructure for the electric kart fleet. We installed a new service transformer with extensive excavation and 5” primary conduit, plus dual 400A, 208V disconnects feeding dedicated panels for high-speed and trickle chargers. We also wired the arcade and commercial kitchen, powered POS, kiosks, and A/V equipment, installed and certified a full Cat-6 network, and modified the fire alarm system around the track layout with engineered drawings.

Amazon DCM5 Renovation

Pataskala, OH | Distribution Center

A site-wide renovation inside an active Amazon distribution center, centered on powering new high-speed sorting and conveyor automation.

Working up to 60 feet overhead, our team ran multiple 1-1/2” EMT runs from the main distribution panel across custom unistrut ladder racking and pulled 3/0 copper feeders to new equipment. New 125A breakers in the MDP required tightly coordinated facility shutdowns. We also installed 480V, 3-phase disconnects for conveyor merge points and sorters, SO-cord twist-lock drops for modular equipment, and full power for new air compressors, all with spotters and lift safety protocols in a live facility.

Columbus, OH | Distribution Center

An electrical infrastructure upgrade inside a large, active Amazon distribution facility in Columbus.

Our team ran 1-1/2” and 1-1/4” EMT overhead from the main distribution panel across drive lanes, mounted unistrut ladder racking from bar joists, and pulled 2/0 copper feeders to power sorting and conveyor equipment. Coordinated shutdowns allowed safe termination of 150A breakers in the MDP. We also powered new compressor locations with 480V, 3-phase disconnects and installed 30A cord drops for sorting and waste stations. The work was completed under Avetta pre-qualification with spotters for every lift operation.

Lightbridge Academy

Powell, OH | Early Childhood Education

A complete electrical and systems package for a new early-education facility in Powell.

Our team furnished and installed the full power distribution system, including utility service infrastructure and a precast concrete transformer vault. The lighting package covered all interior and building-mounted exterior fixtures, controlled by a low-voltage relay panel with dimmers, occupancy sensors, and photocells. We roughed in conduit and back boxes for data, A/V, and security cameras, and provided a turnkey fire alarm system (design and install), from the FACP to smoke/CO detectors, duct detectors, and notification devices.

The Learning Experience

Pickerington, OH | Early Childhood Education

Complete electrical installation for a new childcare and early-education center in Pickerington.

The work started with temporary power, then roughly 320 feet of trenched primary conduit, a concrete transformer pad, and secondary service to the main disconnect. Inside, we installed power, receptacles, and lighting for classrooms, offices, and support areas. Site work included concrete bases for pole lighting and relocating City of Pickerington street lighting to accommodate utility pole changes. Data and phone conduit pathways rounded out the package.

Panda Express New Albany

New Albany, OH | Ground-Up Restaurant

A turnkey power and lighting package for a new ground-up Panda Express with drive-thru in New Albany.

Our team installed the 400A service entrance, coordinated primary conduit, and leveled the transformer pad, then distributed power through a 400A main panel and 200A sub-panel. We circuited all kitchen equipment, receptacles, and rooftop HVAC units, installed interior and exterior lighting with controls and occupancy sensors, and handled site lighting with poles, monument sign power, drive-thru low-voltage conduit, and all electrical excavation and backfill.

Panda Express Columbus

Columbus, OH | Ground-Up Restaurant

A complete electrical package for a new Panda Express on South High Street in Columbus.

The work started with permits and temporary overhead power, then a full gear package, service entrance, and concrete transformer pad. Underground work included PVC distribution under the slab, drive-thru low-voltage conduits, and a low-voltage service entrance. We furnished and installed site pole lighting with concrete bases, powered rooftop equipment and artwork spotlights, and roughed in low voltage above the ceiling.

Dunkin’

Columbus, OH | Ground-Up Restaurant

The full electrical package for a new ground-up Dunkin’ with drive-thru on East Main Street in Columbus.

We furnished and installed the service equipment, including the CT meter can, panelboards, disconnects, and feeders, plus all lighting with controls, building power, and low-voltage and fire alarm pathways. Site work covered underground conduit and wire to pole lights, drive-thru menu boards, and signage. Mid-project, AEP switched from a pole-mounted to a pad-mounted transformer, which meant a longer primary run, new stub-outs, and spare conduits. We priced, documented, and installed the change with the GC and utility, and kept the job on schedule through energization.

Amara

Columbus, OH | Restaurant Renovation

A complete electrical renovation of an existing downtown Columbus restaurant, performed under prevailing wage.

Our team installed new lighting with a full control system (occupancy sensors, time clock, and contactors), power and receptacles throughout, and final connections to all commercial kitchen equipment. We reused and extended existing above-ceiling infrastructure wherever possible to save cost. Outside, we added feature lighting and in-slab power to a new patio bar. The project saw numerous design changes during construction. Each one was priced, approved, and installed through documented communication with the owner, architect, and GC, without disrupting the schedule.
